We are now offering the comprehensive GI MAP Test (GI Microbial Assay Plus), by Diagnostic Solutions Laboratory, in conjunction with our own GI Mapping Interpretation & Written Protocol.

Known as the "gold standard" in comprehensive DNA stool analysis, the GI map uses DNA-based quantitative PCR (qPCR) technology to evaluate GI tract pathogens, parasites, dysbiotic bacteria, fungi, and much more. This unique insight into GI health can shed light on the causality behind persistent health challenges such as mood disorders, brain fog, IBS/digestive issues, weight struggles, skin problems, and autoimmune challenges.

Combined with the GI MAP Written Interpretation & Protocol provided by Rebecca Yenchik CNC, CMH, HTMAp, you will receive an extensive action plan for addressing elusive health issues that have stood in the way of enjoying optimal health and well-being.

What is the Process for Getting Your Test Results?

When you order the GI-MAP test with us, we will submit your requisition for a test kit to be drop-shipped to you via DHA Laboratory, whom we have an account with. DHA Laboratory is a labe testing service company that offers the GI-MAP test by Diagnostic Solutions Laboratory.

Your test kit will include instructions on how to take your stool sample and a pre-paid FedEx envelope for shipping your sample directly to Mosaic Diagnostics laboratory. The turnaround time to get test results is about 2 weeks from the time the lab receives your sample.

Once your results are available to us through our account portal with DHA Laboratory, we will forward your results to you along with an intake form and consent form so that Rebecca can begin working on your 10 page Personalized Written Interpretation and Protocol. The intake form will provide Rebecca with the information she needs to personalize your report and better serve you.

Why Do You Need A Gut Health Stool Test?

There are so many reasons to consider GI Map testing for your gut health.  Most notably, your second brain is in your gut.  That’s right!  You have 2 brains.  The gut is often called the second brain because it contains the enteric nervous system. This important network composed of various neurons helps us digest/absorb nutrients, regulate blood flow, and enables our immune defense.  The enteric nervous system is embedded in the walls of the intestinal tract beginning from the lower end of the esophagus to the rectum.   Keeping your gut free of parasites, problematic bacteria, and yeast is crucial for optimal health.

It's important to know that you don’t have to have GI symptoms to have a gut imbalance. Many people go years without knowing that their gut health is comprised. Hair loss, fatigue, skin problems and PMS have all been linked to gut imbalance.

For some though, the symptoms are major and can’t be missed.  Some of the most common gut imbalance symptoms are pain, IBS, constipation, flatulence, mucus, weight gain/loss, food cravings, poor sleep, poor nutrient absorption, autoimmune conditions, rheumatoid arthritis, anxiety, and depression.  These diagnoses are often given without a thought as to why they are occurring.

Gut health is easily impacted by stress, poor diet, environmental pollutants like glyphosate, statins, smoking, allergy medications, antidepressants, birth control pills, and diabetes medications like Metformin.

Note: Testing is not available to NY State residents. Due to current New York State regulations, Diagnostic Solutions Laboratory is unable to process samples collected from residents of New York. If your billing or shipping address is in New York state, we cannot process your order until you remove the GI MAP Test & Written Interpretation w/ Protocol from your order.
