Advanced Thyroid Panel

TSH • Free T3 • Free T4 • Total T4 • Total T3 • Reverse T3 • T3 Uptake • Thyroglobulin Antibodies • TPO Antibodies

Analyzing thyroid health from a Functional Medicine perspective can offer valuable insights into both overt and subtle thyroid dysfunction that might otherwise go unnoticed through conventional screening alone. Standard lab panels often fall short by limiting testing to just TSH or Free T4, which can overlook deeper imbalances in hormone conversion, autoimmune activity, and thyroid hormone transport.

Our Advanced Thyroid Panel at Evenbetternow® provides a comprehensive overview of your thyroid health by evaluating multiple markers that affect metabolism, energy production, and immune response. This panel is ideal for individuals with symptoms such as fatigue, unexplained weight changes, mood disturbances, hair loss, temperature sensitivity, or a known history of thyroid dysfunction.

The Advanced Thyroid Panel includes measurement of the following biomarkers:

  • TSH (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone): Primary screening marker for thyroid function. Helps assess underactive or overactive thyroid activity.
  • Free T3: The active form of thyroid hormone. Crucial for assessing conversion efficiency and cellular-level hormone availability.
  • Free T4: Used to evaluate unbound thyroxine levels and overall thyroid output.
  • Total T4: Reflects total circulating thyroxine; helps diagnose hypo- and hyperthyroid conditions.
  • Total T3: Useful in evaluating suspected hyperthyroidism even when other levels appear normal.
  • Reverse T3: An inactive form of T3 often elevated in times of physical/emotional stress or chronic illness, which can block active T3 function.
  • T3 Uptake: Indirectly reflects thyroid hormone binding capacity and provides insight into Free T4 Index.
  • Thyroglobulin Antibodies (TgAb): Often elevated in autoimmune thyroid conditions such as Hashimoto’s or Graves’ disease.
  • Thyroid Peroxidase (TPO) Antibodies: Helps differentiate causes of hypothyroidism and identify autoimmune thyroiditis.

How It Works:

Once your order is received, we’ll submit your lab request to DHA Labs.

You’ll receive a lab requisition form and instructions via email.

Bring your requisition form to a local participating blood draw facility.

Results are typically available within 1–2 weeks and will be uploaded to your secure client portal

Patient Preparation: Please discontinue any supplements containing Biotin (vitamin B7) at least 72 hours prior to your blood draw, as biotin may interfere with thyroid test accuracy.

Important Note: To avoid unnecessary delays or processing errors, please ensure that the name you provide us for submitting your order to the DHA Laboratory is the exact same name on the ID requisition form that you will be presenting to the lab for your blood draw. They must match; therefore, do not use an alias or pseudonym unless that is the name you provided us to submit your order to DHA labs.

Basic Thyroid Panel, by DHA Labs

Basic Thyroid Panel

TSH • Free T3 • Free T4 • Total T4

Our Basic Thyroid Panel at Evenbetternow® is a foundational screening tool for evaluating overall thyroid function. It includes four key markers commonly used to identify thyroid imbalances such as hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, or hormone conversion issues. This panel is frequently recommended as a starting point for individuals with fatigue, weight changes, mood fluctuations, or menstrual irregularities, or for those monitoring an existing thyroid treatment plan.

Standard thyroid testing in conventional medicine often focuses on just TSH - but this may not provide the full picture. By including Free T3, Free T4, and Total T4, this panel offers deeper insight into how your thyroid is producing and converting hormones.

Basic Thyroid Panel (TSH, Free T3, Free T4, Total T4) with optional 30 Min or 60 Min Consultation
