A NutritionalTherapy Consultation is tailored to your specific health needs. During your 55 minute phone consultation with Rainbow Lopez, M.A., N.T.P., you will learn what dietary and lifestyle changes can make the biggest difference in how you feel and function in your daily life (based on your health profile).
Rainbow is a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP) who will guide you in how to identify the ways you are compromising your health and simple things you can do to improve your chances of regaining your health and vitality.
Rainbow focuses on the following Nutritional Therapy Foundations:
-
Addressing the health of your diet
-
Supporting a healthy digestive system
-
Maintaining blood sugar balance
-
The importance of mineral balancing
-
Maintaining fatty acid balance
-
Proper hydration
Rainbow is able to help you identify where your weaknesses are in one or more of the foundations listed above. When these foundations are out of balance, then other issues arise, such as hormonal imbalance, cardiovascular issues, weight gain, and immune system issues, including the manifestation of allergies. These imbalances are directly related to the 6 nutritional foundations.
Rainbow will guide you on how to both make changes to your diet and suggest supplementation to correct any digestive irregularities. She is also trained to incorporate an analysis of lifestyle habits, including sleep, stress, movement, and environmental factors, which, if altered holistically, help to drive client success. Within this framework and focus, Rainbow can support you in achieving your health goals so you can live life to the fullest. Instead of chasing symptoms and trying the next trend, working with Rainbow can help determine what your unique body needs to thrive today.
The benefits of working with Rainbow are:
-
Improved and balanced digestion
-
Better absorption of nutrients
-
More energy and vitality
-
Improved ability to focus
-
Less mood swings
-
Optimal wellness
Rainbow is certified through the Nutritional Therapy Association® (NTA), where she is taught ancestral nutrition from different cultures all over the world that are rooted in the power of real food. The focus of an NTP is to help support a person's health and vitality through individualized holistic nutrition and lifestyle factors, as well as supporting nutritional and physiological deficiencies through the NTA’s Foundations.
Nutritional therapists focus on nutritional foundations such as: Properly prepared nutrient-dense food, digestion, blood sugar, mineral balance, fatty acid balance, and hydration. They are trained to recognize deficiencies in the nutritional foundations that lead to the degenerative health problems that plague the modern world. Nutritional Therapists encourage the consumption of organic foods, non-GMO foods, how to find hidden additives and ingredients in foods, and the dangers of processed foods.
The Nutritional Therapy Association is founded on the beliefs and teachings of such nutritional pioneering greats as Weston A. Price and Dr. Francis M. Pottenger. Price and Pottenger are considered two of the greatest scientific minds ever to research nutrition, food supplies, and their effects on modern society.
