"As an alternative to invasive procedures that could possibly have made my IC worse, I chose to go natural. What did I have to lose? I ordered the Intersitial Support Pak from Evenbetternow less than a month ago, and I can honestly say I have my life back. I take each product as suggested, and I drink Marshmallow Root tea daily (more if having a flare-up).

"I have been taking the Basic Interstitial Support Pak since November of this year. I was in pain day and night with my bladder; it flet like I had to urinate all the time and it would burn and sting when I did urinate. "I began to have symptoms of I.C. about 15 years ago and was diagnosed with I.C. about 13 years ago. Since that time I have had many types of treatment to ease my pain, urinary tract infections and fatigue. Three years ago, my symptoms became so severe that I was in pain all the time. I was constantly getting infections and taking endless courses of antibiotics. My exhaustion was incredible, and I was always irritable. This illness had a terrible effect on my work and personal life.

In addition to traditional Western medicine techniques and physical therapy, I tried every alternative therapy I could find: acupuncture, cranio-sacral therapy, Chinese herbs, Western herbs and cleanses, alkaline diet, Ayurvedic diet. "Thank you CC Raphael. I do not know if you remember me, but I made some inquiries the early part of September regarding what supplements were safe to take with Elmiron and Tramadol. You were very helpful in giving me sound advice. I ordered 4 of the supplements and I find that they do help me with my Interstitial Cystitis, and I will be ordering again.

I have perused many websites with information on Interstitial Cystitis claiming that they have a cure. Some of the websites have support groups, medical journals, etc., and these are very helpful, but there are also some that want your money, promising a guaranteed cure. "I have IC and had been taking a drug called Elmiron for quite a few years with no improvement.  My urologist recommended speaking to a homeopathic doctor.  I had just started a new job and could not keep leaving for doctors appointments so I went on the internet to try and find some natural therapies for my problem.   I looked at many sites whose main purpose was to "sell" you a cure but your website was not only informative and understandable in explaining IC and other related immune problems, but recommended products that made sense and related stories about other peoples' success with these products.

"I was diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitis approximately 15 years ago. Up until recently, I have been managing my pain with DMSO treatments from a Urologist. "I just wanted to share my experience and add a potentially vital piece of info that might help IC sufferers figure out the diet problem.

I have been on your IC  comprehensive pak for three days. Although I have tried many of these products seperately over the past 10 years, I have not had such a thorough approach. I can't comment on recovery at this point, but I can say that I have slept incredibly deeply and soundly, with more energy in the morning. I feel very hopeful at this point.

For those still struggling with IC diet issues, I've tried low acid and low oxalate to no avail. My big Ah ha moment for diet was coming across the Low Histamine diet. It wasn't the acid in the tomatoes that irritated me, it was natural histamine in the food! I recommend people still try to figure out the diet issue to take a low histamine approach.  Turns out high histamine foods are: chocolate, alcohol (red wine!) soy and tomatoes (and more). Big surprise huh? I think the IC community understands that foods like tomatoes are a problem, but not WHY it is a problem. If it was just acid, you'd be able to neutralize it with preleif or antacids. If you suffer from an inflammatory condition, it makes sense to not overload your body with foods that contain histamine!"

"My sister called me last night, hysterical, crying. She was at the end of her rope in pain. She was talking about committing herself since the doctors think she's making it up anyway.
