We utilize two delivery services, UPS and US Postal
Mail (USPS). On our shopping cart you have the option of choosing
Priority Mail or UPS delivery for your order.
UPS - There are several options
for UPS that you can select from. Regular UPS Ground service
takes anywhere from 1-5 business days (depending on your location),
not including day of pick-up. Delivery to destinations in Central
or Eastern Times Zones will take 4-5 days.
The UPS 3-Day Select, 2nd Day Air, and Next Day Air service also
do not include day of pick-up. For example, if you place an order
using "UPS 3-Day Select" on a Monday, your order will
be picked up by UPS on Tuesday and delivered by Friday.
All orders received by phone or on-line utilizing UPS are processed
and shipped out the next business day unless received by 11:00
am Mountain Time, in which case they may be shipped the same day.
US Mail – Priority Mail
service is typically 2-4 days, however the Post Office does not
guarantee delivery time. As with UPS, orders received by phone or on-line
utilizing Priority Mail will be processed and shipped out the
next business day unless received prior to 11:00 am Mountain Time, in which case they may be shipped the same day.
Note: We have discontinued using
USPS Express Next Day due to difficulties with the efficiency
of this service. UPS expedited service, although more expensive,
is much more reliable than US Post and much easier to track.
International
We welcome international orders. Although we offer
a choice between using UPS courier and US Mail (USPS) to deliver
your package, we strongly urge you to consider UPS (if affordable) as your choice
of service. This is due to problems we have encountered with
customs clearance (with some countries) and timely delivery using
US Mail.
There are now three options for International Mail service. They are First Class International, Priority International, and Express International.
First Class International - estimated time of delivery really varies depending on the country it is going to. At our checkout, we state 6 - 21 business days, not including customs clearance. In some cases, the package can arrive as soon as 6 days, but can take much longer if US Post chooses to ship it surface. Package weight is limited to 4 lbs. maximum.
Priority Mail International - estimated time of delivery is 6 - 10 business days, not including customs clearance.
Express Mail International - estimated time of delivery is 5 business days, not including customs clearance.
Please Note: Depending on the country, customs clearance can take up to 30 days, even if there isn't an issue.
Except for Express Mail International, UPS (Express
or Expedited) is much faster (usually 7 days), but of course is
more expensive to ship. The real advantage of UPS service is
that your package is fully trackable, whereas Express
Mail International only tracks when it leaves the US port, arrives at the international
port and when it is delivered, but nothing in between. First Class Mail International and Priority Mail International are not trackable at all.
In order to make UPS rates more affordable, we
now offer a 60% discount off of published rates on both UPS Expedited
and UPS Express. This discount does not apply to Canadian Standard UPS service. The shipping costs will be automatically displayed for you
when placing your order on-line.
The transit time for UPS Express and Express
Mail International are about the same, unless there is an issue with customs,
in which case UPS will be quicker because they can clear customs
much easier. Brokerage fees for customs clearance are included
in the shipping cost for international UPS orders sent by air
(Express or Expedited). However, you may be charged applicable
duty and taxes that apply to your country when you receive the
order.
As a favor to international customers, we lower
the value declared on the UPS & USPS customs form and then
email (or snail mail) your sales invoice separately to you. We do this to
help eliminate or at least lower the cost of any taxes or duty
that apply. We also mark "gift" on the customs form
for UPS or USPS shipments.
Important Customs Note:
We've found that using UPS service is best for
international countries since UPS acts as its own broker for
clearing customs, which makes it easier to clear customs. Although
UPS is more expensive than USPS, UPS is much more reliable for
ensuring safe delivery of your package.
There are some countries which have questionable
customs practices, issues with theft, or prohibit the importation
of products which are legal in the USA.
Although Evenbetternow,
LLC, is not responsible for what foreign customs authorities
do with your package, we will work with you
in whatever way we can to help ensure you receive your order.
Mexican Customers
Due to tightening of border controls, we are unable to send packages to Mexico unless you have an import license for the products we carry. We suggest if you'd like to be able to receive our products that you have them shipped to a relative in a US bordering town, and then have them send you the package.
German Customers
We regret that we are no longer able to send packages
to Germany, as government officials have denied access of any
nutritional supplements (without a pharmacy ID) into the country
(either through US Mail or courier). We suggest if you want to
order any of our products that you have them shipped to someone
you know in a neighbouring country who can then give them to
you.
Canadian Orders
As with all other international orders, we strongly
recommend using UPS service for safe delivery of your order.
Orders shipped via US Mail (First Class International or Priority International)
to Canada will take longer to receive than via UPS due to customs
clearance.
The Canadian Postal Service may charge a $5.00 CDN handling
fee at the time of delivery in addition to any Federal
or Provincial sales tax that may apply.
As with all international
orders, we send your order out marked as a "gift" and
then email (or snail mail) your sales invoice separately to you
to help eliminate or at least reduce the cost of brokerage fees
and government taxes.
UPS shipments can be sent via UPS Canadian Standard (much less expensive than UPS Expedited or UPS Express) which
takes about 7 days to receive, assuming normal customs clearance.
The shipping costs for either UPS or USPS will
be automatically displayed for you when placing your order on-line.
Canadians Please Note:
For UPS Standard, unless you choose
to use your own broker or use UPS Express/Expedited service, UPS will most likely charge a brokerage fee (based on value of product) at
the time of delivery in addition to the normal GST and PST fees
that apply. Again, we lower the value on your customs form to
help reduce the cost of any applicable taxes or duty.
Sometimes the brokerage fee UPS charges is higher than expected - and sometimes they won't charge a brokerage fee at all. There seems to be little rhyme or reason to their policy.
In any event, Evenbetternow, LLC is not responsible for extra charges incurred at the point of delivery of your package. |
