Essential Saccharides Found in the
Optimal Cell Support Glyconutrient Formula
As previously stated, glyconutrients are food sources that provide some or all of the essential saccharides – mannose, glucose, galactose, fucose, xylose, N-acetylglucosamine, N-acetyl-galactosamine, and N-acetylneuraminic acid. These saccharides are necessary for cell-to-cell communication and optimal immune response. Humans have the ability to transform one form of sugar to another, but we can’t create sugar on our own. The essential saccharides are described in more detail below:
MANNOSE
Mannose is the foundation of all the vital sugars since it is involved in numerous fundamental cell activities.
