What is EBN® Detoxifying Clay?
EBN® Clay is a 100% pure pharmaceutical grade bentonite clay that has a very high cation exchange capacity (98-107 meq/100g on the CEC scale), which means it has a very high ionic surface charge when mixed with warm water. | How do they work? |
|
When you mix this clay with water, it creates a large negatively charged surface area.
When the body is in a tub of warm water, the warm water opens up the pores of the skin, and the positively charged toxic particles are drawn through the pores of the skin, to be absorbed by the clay. |
Most chemical and metal toxins have a postive charge, whereas the clay has a negative charge.Thus, the toxins cannot resist being drawn towards the clay.
Bentonite clay has a great capacity for absorbing many times its own weight in toxins. In other words, clay baths have been shown to literally pull pollutants out through the skin, getting rid of many months and years of toxic accumulations.
Please Note: When you prepare a clay bath you are mixing only a small portion of clay, usually ¾ to 2 cups (1½ to 4 scoops) with water, which gives the bath water a "muddy" look. A common misconception is that the clay bath is thick and gooey. It is not, and it can easily be flushed down the tub drain if you follow the instructions provided. |

Bio-Chelat™ Heavy Metal Chelator |

Bio-Chelat™ Heavy Metal Chelator is manufactured by Dr. Thomas Nissen, who introduced Bio-Chelat™ to North America from Germany. Kids Chelat has some very special and unique properties that set it apart from other chelators on the market.
Bio-Chelat™ is a patented chelator that is composed of a very dilute solution of Disodium EDTA (200 mg per 100 ml bottle), mineral salts, and a small amount of an oxidative catalyser. |

Because of the addition of the oxidative catalyser, which loosens the molecular bonds of the heavy metal ions attached to the proteins' sufhydral group, only a tiny amount of EDTA needs to be used for maximum effectiveness. |
Thus, there are no harmful side effects with Bio-Chelat™. It does not affect or harm the liver, kidneys or gastro-intestinal tract. Clinical studies in Germany have proven its safety and effectiveness for children and infants.
Now the reason we like to recommend this product is that unlike most chelators, it is able to chelate metals that are tightly bound to tissues and organs, including the brain. By creating a high electric-magnetic gradient in the gastrointestinal tract, new heavy metal ions are pulled from the body (including the brain) into the blood stream and stomach/intestine, and excreted (Law of Isotonicity) through the stool and urine.
Therefore, the heavy metal ions are loosened and excreted even if they are very tightly bound to the tissues and organs.
And equally importantly, Bio-Chelat™ prevents the metals that have been loosened in the chelating process from being re-absorbed. In an acidic environment (i.e. stomach, intestines etc.), Disodium EDTA forms a high complex bond with mercury and other heavy metals. Because of this, heavy metals coming from food, teeth, bile and so on are chelated and excreted through the bowel and not re-absorbed through the intestinal tract.
So you do not need to worry about the metals being re-distributed in your child's body, and doing more damage to the tissues and organs.
As well, Kids Chelat™ will prevent the heavy metal ions that your child is being exposed to on a daily basis from being absorbed in his/her body in the first place. So for instance if your child has amalgam fillings, which release mercury ions every time he/she chews, those ions are trapped by the Bio-Chelat and then excreted from the body. This is why Bio-Chelat is safe to use as a daily preventative if you so wish.
Additionally, Bio-Chelat™ does not effect essential minerals such as calcium and magnesium like other chelating products are known to do. In the clinical studies done in Germany, only zinc was slightly decreased, so we do recommend supplementing with extra zinc while taking the Bio-Chelat. Test For Toxic Heavy Metals |

There are various ways to test for heavy metals, the most accurate being a chelation challenge test. This test needs to be performed by a doctor specializing in chelation therapy. The benefit of this test is that it is the most accurate way to pinpoint the body's toxic load. The drawback is that it is invasive (uses drugs DMPS or DMSA, and the urine is collected and analyzed over a 24 hour period), it is expensive, and there is a good possibility of side effects. |

Scientists suspect that proper methylation of DNA may prevent the expression of harmful genes, such as cancer genes.
In 1965, two Russian investigators, M.G. Blumena and T.L. Belyakova, published a report showing considerable improvement in the speech of 12 of a group of 15 mentally handicapped children. The children had been treated with calcium pangamate. Subsequent research has shown the essential factor in calcium pangamate to be DMG.
Soon afterward, psychiatrist Allan Cott visited Moscow and brought back a small supply of pangamic acid, which he tried on a number of children, some of who were autistic. Many of Cott’s patients responded in the same way the Russian children had. |
